The year is 1997. Only a few short months have passed since the death of Albus Dumbledore, murdered at the hand of a trusted friend and colleague. Quite reluctantly, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ronald Weasley have returned to Hogwarts to complete their final year of schooling. Although The Trio had high hopes of an enjoyable final term, their expectations were short lived. In early October, Lord Voldemort successfully launched his Occupation of The Ministry of Magic, executing Rufus Scrimgeour and seating Pius Thicknesse as Minister. And, as if to add insult to injury, Voldemort has taken over Hogwarts and, after acquitting Severus Snape, named the murderer as Headmaster of the school. Death Eaters openly patroll the grounds, making sure that the students are behaving, and punishing those they believe are out of line. As soon as the coup replaced McGonagall with Snape, Harry Potter attempted to flee the school, but was thwarted by The DA, who unanimously agreed that Harry must remain at school. With the help of Neville Longbottom, Harry has taken up a secret residence in the Room of Requirement. The Death Eaters have no idea where Harry has fled to, and it is Voldemort's chief objective to locate the boy and execute him. Although Harry is, for the moment, safe, he frequently sneaks out of his sanctuary, under the invisibility cloak. Sooner or later, his presence will be discovered. Neville has begun Dumbledore's Army anew, gathering students who are dejected by the Order of The Phoenix as mere children and not worthy enough to fight. The world is divided into three factions: those who acknowledge the return of The Dark Lord, those who willfully remain ignorant, and those who have been persuaded to join the dark side.
Will you fight when the time comes, and who will you stand by? Will you be a student, living your life at the school and watching as the war rages on, or will you be an adult, actively fighting on a side?
